July POTM: Andy Ash
After a slower start to his 1st KWL season, Andy turned up the heat on the 2nd place Wildies, as he help push his team to a 5-3 finish and lockind down their first playoff birth. Andy's bat shined through out July as he averaged 3.16 Rbi's per game. In two games in July, Andy had 9 hits in 9 at bats. The second game with 9 hits, he ended the game with a 3 run walk-off homerun.
Averaging nearly 5 hits per game for the month of July, Andy increased his season hitting average nearly 85 points to where he finished with a .437.
