Player Watch: Edition 1.
This is the First Edition of Four columns. After the first quater of the season has passed, we analyze some of the leagues players; Who is Hot? Who is Not? And which players are on their upswing?

Jamey Detamore:

Could Jamey become the first KWL Triple Crown winner?

Jamey Started right out the gates in this 2007 season batting a Robust .607 with 5 dingers and 13 Runs knocked in. Leading in 2 of 3 categories, there is no doubt he will be hunting for some new head gear come fall.

Brian Kirsch:

All the way from Red Hot to Red "Not". Rookie Wildie Brian Kirsch finally hashed his first KWL hit on 5-21-07. Brian followed up his career high hit game (1 hit) with another 1 hit performance in game two. A future KWL Fun-Star, No doubt!

Congrats Brian!

Pat Kean:

You'll find this guy hiding in a brown jersey on Thursday night, but he is defiantly not full of Sh!t! Pat is hitting a respectable .400 through the first quarter of the season, with one 3 homer game under his belt. This sweet swinging lefty should be in the top 5 of all the offensive categories all year long.

Kevin Phillips:

After a very impressive spring training on the mound, Kevin has found himself with a 0-2 Record and 3.00 ERA. Kevin really needs to "Pump up the Jam" for the remainder of the season in order to have any chance for the CY Wiffle award.

.
Jim Moe:

The wild thing *pause & sigh*, Jim has lived up to his namesake thus far into the 2007 season. Getting knocked around for 8 runs in his first outing of the year; Jim has struggled to find consistency with his pitches. Following up this slow start with a solid finish is just what this veteran starter needs.
