Player Watch: Edition 2.

The game in which children have fell in love with, has never been harder to play for some. While other players break the measuring scale to rise above all others. We dive into some of the hot and cold spells of the some of the notable players in the league.

Bryan Jennings:

Thermometer x 2. No scale is available to measure how hot this kid currently is; The KWL sultan of swing.

Bryan has quietly taken the KWL homerun lead (12) heading into the all-star break. He now leads the league in 2 of the 3 categories and is 2nd in RBI's.

Ryan DeYoung:

We go all the way from the hottest player in the league, to one of the coldest. Ryan started the season hitting the ball well, but has fell into a 5 week slump leaving him with a minuscule .203 batting average.

Ryan difficulties at the plate have followed him onto the mound as well. After starting 2-0, he has dropped his last 2 starts giving up 17 runs.

Mike Downs:

Mike and his Belly Itchers are sitting high on top of the American league thus far along. Mike is hitting a robust .521, and leads the KWL with 37 hits. Mike has won his last 3 starts on the hill, increasing his record to 4-1 respectively.

Steve Crummie :

We might have a hypothermia case on our hands. Steve is so cold at the plate, he might have ice water in his veins; hitting a sub par .163. Steve has only knocked in 3 runs and scored once! However, that is in fact 10% of the Hex Nuts production. Steve has taken his fair share of hard knocks, and he should hopefully find his swing soon.

.
Andy Ross:

Look who is back to their old games! Andy has finally stepped up to the mound and is starting to heat up faster then the interior of an 85' Cutlass in July. This 06' Cy Wiffle Runner-up has returned to the pitching scene and is posting a KWL best 1.67 ERA. A much needed reinforcement to the Wildies pitching staff.
