Brian Richardson:
The athletic nature of Brian was on display for 5 weeks of the season as he made ridiculous catch after ridiculous catch. He finished 4th in the AL voting for the white glove.
Not only did Brian excel in the field, he also hit .333 with a .493 OBP and was 3-1 on the hill while averaging nearly 7 k's per game.
Rumored to be hooking up with the 07' Champion Belly Itchers, which could form the best 1-2 pitching staff in the KWL.

Pat Kean:
With hopes of winning a title, Pat has moved on to greener pastures with the Industrials for 2008.
Pat's bat carried him into the All Star game in 2007. Before falling into a second half slump, Pat was in the league leaders in Homeruns and Rbi's.
This move to the Industrials could help Pat become more productive. His pitching may become one of the leagues best on a better team.
|
Brian Vandenbrand:
A prolific homerun hitter from 2007; Brian hit 17 homers in 79 plate appearances, average 1 every 4.6 ab's (best in the league). Brian also slugged out a .380 average to go along with his 39 rbi's.
Brian has many teams looking to add his potent bat to there lineups. The biggest pursuers are the Flyin' Wildies; looking to anchor Brian with 07' AL MVP Matt Kirsch.

Steve Crummie :

However, don’t count the Hex Nuts out just yet! Rumors have surfaced with Hex Nuts looking to reform a new team for 2008

Jose Tellado:
Could Jose become the first KWL to be selected to Fun star, All Star and homerun derby in 2008?
Jose's uncanny ability to make others smile often over shadows his ability to hit and pitch. Jose hit .317 with 10 homeruns in 2007. His pitching improved 10 fold from the beginning to the end.
Rumors have Jose trying to bring back a revamped Evil Monkeys. Sources have also possibly linked Jose to Signing up fellow fun star Daryl Hutson's Indies.

Brian Barber:
Could the Lemons pitching star be leaving? Rumors circling the KWL hot stove are that Barber could be looking to assemble his own team for 2008; which could come at the expensive the NL champion Chet's Lemons.
Overshadowed throughout most the 2007 season by teammate Mike Raber, Brian proved his pitching prowess. Going toe to toe with 2 time Cy wiffle Brian Meyers on 4 occasions. Brian gave Meyers his first KWL defeat on 7/12/07 in a 2-1 game to help lock the Lemons as the NL champs. |
