| Kicking off the 2008 playoffs, #3 seed The Flyin' Wildebeest met up with the #2 seed Flying Dutchman. The games were played at the Township park in the best of 3 format. Winner moves on, loser pack their bags and look to next year! |

Game 1:
Wildies 2, Dutchman 1 F/6
W: Andy Ross
L: Jake Rhodes
HR: Ben Gladysz
A confident Wildebeest team took the field behind ace pitcher Andy Ross. Andy pitched lights out from the mound with a 1 run lead until the bottom of the 5th inning. Ben Gladysz took a 2-2 curveball deep to left to tie the game at 1. Jake Rhodes lost his control in the top of the 6th and after several full counts, walked in the winning run. Ross finished with 13k's and only 1 hit allowed.

Game 2:
Dutchman 4, Wildies 5 F/6
W: Matt Kirsch
L: Kristy Stratton
HR: Kristy Stratton 2
2B: Steve Scudder
Kristy threw 4 quality shutout innings before the Wildies bats came alive in the bottom half of the 5th. The Wildies scored all 5 of thier runs and had 8 hits in the inning. In the top of the 6th, the Dutchman fought back with a single and a 2-run homer by Kristy. Unfortunatly the Dutchman were unable to get anything more.
