American League Divisional Series Recap
Kicking off the 2008 playoffs, #3 seed Industrials met up with the #2 seed Snowsuit and Icey Road. The games were played at a very bluster Flesher West in the best of 3 format. Winner moves on, loser pack their bags and look to next year!

Game 1:
Indies 3, Snowsuit 13 F/4

L: Brian Meyers
HR: Lukas Pederson 3, Melissa Brink

The Industrials jumped ahead in the 1st with 3 runs, but in the 2nd Inning, Snowsuits offense came to live as they manage to run Brian Meyers through the ringer for 17 hits and 13 runs, mercing the Industrials in 4 innings. Lukas Pederson finished the game 5-8 with 3 Homers and 8 Rbi's.

Game 2:
Snowsuit 0, Indies 10 F/5

L: Matt Jennings
HR: Brian Meyers 2, Todd Windbigler

After being mercied in the first game, the Industrials wasted no time getting ahead 7 to 0 by the end of the 2nd inning. Pat Kean had his A game from the mound, holding the Snowsuit to just 3 hits. The Industrials scored 3 more runs over the next 3 innings in order to finish off Snowsuit in the 5th. Daryl and Brian combined for 10-14, 2 Hr's and 10 Rbi's.

Game 3:

The Elephant in the room final was on center stage as the Snowsuit attempt to peice together their 3rd pitcher slot which they have not used for much of the regular season. The Indies took full advantage of the lack of a 3rd pitcher, as they scored 7 runs in 7 at bats in the 1st inning. Todd pitched the best game of his season, holding the Snowsuit to just 1 run on 4 hits.



Industials ralleys proved to be too much.


Next up for the Industrials, are AL top seed Wildebeest. A rematch of last seasons ALCS. Games 1, 2 are Monday August 3rd at 6:00pm at Flesher West.
