| T-Banch's Ten Little Thingies. 10 things to look forward to in Spring Training |
1. Warmer weather. I know all of us are tired of freezing our ass off after the 6 months of winter. Well the end is finally in sight and spring is right around the corner. |
|
2. Seeing all my wiffleball friends again. It has been way too long since I have been picked on by my peers in the KWL. |
3. Fighting off the advances of a possibly imaginary (definitely homosexual) Frenchman. |
4. A chance to perfect our celebratory handshakes. Some players get really creative with these. Rumor has it that Daryl Hutson’s will include a back flip! |
5. Meeting and ridiculing the new teams. Oh, they have no idea what's in store for them! |
6. Seeing familiar faces in new places. A lot of players have changed teams and it will be interesting to see how the moves play out. |
7. Seeing where the last few free agents end up. There are still really good players on the market including Matt effing Kirsch! |
8. The end of boredom. All offseason I have resorted to video games, indoor soccer, and massive amounts of sleep to pass the time. Finally wiffleball is almost here and everything will be a little bit better. |
9. Playing indoors for the first time. It will be interesting and a chance to get started that much sooner! |
10. Playing wiffleball for the first time in forever. It’s one of my favorite things to do and I haven’t played since fall ball. I am really looking forward to just playing the game. |
