The Market Thins, many good players remain. 1/27/2010 by Brian Meyers |
Even though some players have been plucked out of the free agent pool, many good hearty wiffleballer’s remain. The 2009-10 offseason has been larger then any prior season and has featured many players changing teams and many still looking for a landing spot for the upcoming season.
So who’s still available?

Jason Whitney: With the final demise of the Cure, Jason found himself without a home for the 2010 season. J’ has played in 2 KWL seasons and improved ten fold from his rookie campaign as a member of the Stone Cutters. In 2009, Jason stepped and put his game on display as he slugged, pitched and made many stunning catches. |

Mike Jacobson: Many suspected that Mike would be signed around the Winter Meeting, but that has come and gone. If Mike ends up playing in 2010, you can expect him to be in the upper echelon of the leagues power hitters. For two seasons, Mike has proved to be solid swinging slugger and quality baseball smarts. |
Todd Windbigler: Made his debut to the league last season as a member of the Industrials. His talent was raw, but after some reps, started to show some shine as a pitcher. His numbers look bloated, but two of his first starts really did in his ERA for the season. Todd’s a tall lanky sidewinder that could become a strong pitcher in the KWL. |
Matt Kirsch: Everything that can be said about Matt, has already been said. A top 5 player in the entire league! |
Steve Scudder: For two seasons, Steve slugged away as a member of the Wildies landing him with a near career .400 average (.399). Surprising that Steve is still floating around the market, as many felt he would be swept up by now. None the less, Steve will be a high quality addition where ever he may land. |
