Kalamazoo Yellow Bat Classic

Kalamazoo’s first and finest Charity Wiffleball Tournament brought to you by the Kzoo Wiffleball league and DiscoverKalamazoo.com.  This year’s tournament will benefit the Children’s Leukemia Foundation.

Team Entry Fee: $85 per team (3-4 players)


Team Requirements:
Must be 18 year of age or older.  Teams consist of a minimum of 3 players and a maximum of 4.  The first 16 teams to register will be guaranteed a spot.

Tournament Format:
It’s a single one-day tournament. The first part of the tournament will consist of round-robin divisional play; all teams will be guaranteed at least 3 games.  The top teams from each division will then advance to play in a single-elimination playoff style bracket.  The winner of the playoff bracket will be the Tournament Champion.

Awards:
Awards will be given to the top two finishing teams.  Other awards will be given for Sportsmanship, Tournament MVP, Best team name, Best Pitcher and Best Hitter.

Included:
Participants are guaranteed to play at least 3 games during the day’s competition and will receive a tournament t-shirt (first teams to register, first served in case of limited supply/late entry).  All equipment will be provided.

Food & Alcohol:
Alcohol will not be permitted on the park grounds.  Limited food and beverage items will be sold at the tournament.  Be sure to bring a cooler with items you may need.  Flesher Field has many restaurants in close proximity.

Cleats:
Players may wear plastic cleats, but no metal spikes will be allowed.
