KWL's First Indoor Wiffleball Tournament! Sunday, February 28th. Starts at 9 am! Sign up today for a one of kind event that is sure to please! The KWL is proud to offer it's first indoor winter tournament. The Tournament will be double elimination format, with each team garrenteed three games! Registration will be open to the first 32 players at a first come, first serve basis. The indoor facility we will be using will feature two fields and in order to get the entire tournament done in a single day, we have to limit the number of teams! The teams will be drawn at random in a blind draw on the morning of the tournament. Cost is $25 per player*. Price includes lunch and a Tshirt! Must be 18 years old to participate! Sign up Today! Where is the tournament being played? The YBC will be played at an indoor warehouse near the corner of 9th street and West N ave. (Near Swat Fitness). The Address will be posted soon! Why on Sunday? The space is available when it's available! Beggers can't be choosers! What is a blind draw? It is where the teams are selected out of a hat at random. This allows for new players that don't know everyone in the league an oppertunity to play without having to find a full team. You get to meet new people and plus it's super fun! What do I need to bring? A pair of sneakers, a folding lawn chair, and a cooler filled with your favorite beverages (adult kind allowed). How long with the tournament last? From start to finish, the YBC should run about 8 hours. Some teams may be eliminated sooner, so actual time per team will vary on how far you make it in the tournament. What Style of Play? No baserunning, two fielders and a pitcher. Hitting into zones with ghost runners. Batters start with a loaded count.
