Mayor Eric Resigns. by Brian Meyers 9/7/2011

After only one year in office, Major Eric and the Town Hall Pose will not be returning for another term. “Yah, I’m going to become a free agent” announced the team Captain Lukas Pederson, which came at no surprise to most of the league after he nearly decided to do the same in 2010. Shortly after his announcement, Corey Henderson also followed suit and decided to also test the market.

Known to most as Snowsuit and the Icy Road, The Town Hall Posse fizzled with their name change and failed to make the playoffs after being a mainstay for three straight seasons (2008-10).  The 2011 season started with high expectations, but was met with a losing record which led to spotty attendance.  The Posse finished with the league’s 4th worst record at 9-19 overall after finishing the polar opposite in 2010 (19-9, 4th best Record).

Despite the 9-19 record, the Posse qualified for the Tom Selleck, but was once again plagued by attendance issues and eventually had to be replaced by the Ducks. The franchise finished with a 57-45 all-time record, including three trips to the playoffs. The front office has not announced what will be done with the team spot vacated by THP.
