Henderson Retires. by Brian Meyers 11/22/2011

After three seasons, Corey Henderson has decided it’s time to hang up the ol’ wiffleball spikes.  “I’m taking a high paying position as my son’s coach”, Corey announced at his suburban home on Monday night.  “It’s been a lot of fun and I am thankful have been able to play for as long as I have”. He continued.

“Corey has been a very valuable member of our league, he is going to be missed.” commented Commissioner Meyers.  “He will make a great coach!”

Corey joined Snowsuit and the Icy road in 2009, where he hit an impressive .315 in his rookie campaign.  Always a good contact hitter, his numbers improved every seen and he finished 2011 with an astonishing .378 average.

Corey's Career Numbers:
.324 (120-370), 17 Homeruns, 49 Rbi's, and 80 Runs Scored.
